Looking through galleries of pictures taken on iPhones, I can say I am very impressed.
First looking through some pictures on Wired I started being amazed not buy the size, but by the way the pictures were took. They are absolutely brilliant and portray the author's work, all with an iPhone camera. I could never imagine that such a small, wimpy camera could be so amazing.
Next I was looking at Tony Stewart's iPhone pictures and was amazed. No matter how small, they hold so much. So much amazement in a little package, I cannot fathom how it was done. It could be the filters placed over certain pictures that add just a little bit of style that perfects it.
However it is, the iPhone certainly has a lot of potential for being so small! I can't wait to see what the future of phone cameras bring.

It is amazing what technology can go. When I shoot my movies that I make, I use a digital camera that you normally take pictures off. When I'm done recording my movie and post it on youtube it comes out amazing. Thats how Rob Zombie shoots some of his film as well. I remeber when a phone was just cool when it was wireless, now there is no telling what cell phones can do.
ReplyDeleteRemember, Josh, the photos themselves taken on an iPhone are not all that small once you upload into your computer. They're standard diggy camera size, actually quite huge, 21"x28", just 72 dpi rez though. It's the altering format, using iTools or some other app to alter them I find amazing. And the paint programs on a smartphone, don't get me started. It's like doing miniature paintings and I find those ridiculously difficult.
